To be honest? I don't know why.. but I was cleaning my room today and I found incredibles Disk 2. Which had the fashion designer.. then Wingedwish posts her entree into this contest..
Danny dresses up as a different alterego to do something..
I dunno what it's about.. but when you clean my room, you have to deal with alot of comics..
I put them away and found some sonic comics.. among them was like.. 91... I think it was.. where sonic dresses up to throw off the king and gaurds to go on a mission against orders..
(since when does that rebel follow orders?)
Anyway.. Design was based on three things.. Bird themed superheros of past and present, Function, and style.
I gave a few guesses on why danny would need a new costume, or want to do it. he probally wouldn't tell his friends about it. I havn't read this unwritten fic so I wouldn't know.
So the mask was based off of, believe it or not, Airrazor from beast wars..
good bird character right there. Chest was based off of Nightwing's costume, as were the arms, but the gloves were based of of my own character, hightail. She has simular gloves. Whoot!
Anyway, I needed a kick, get into a designing phase. So this was nice for me.. and look! even some flat coloring! whee!
The mask is a half cowl. I was gonna do a DP superhero mask once when I was doing that young justice crossover.. but.. eh!
As far as the cape goes? Robin had a cape like that the "can I take your order" episode of Teen Titans. Only far more for funcction then style this cape here is for style, because Danny doesn't need to use it to fly, but he can make everyone else thinks he uses them for flying!
Also, that's Danny holding the mask there.. kind of all Spiderman like.
