Also comment, I Spent like two weeks on this.

for and her Character is.. project.. Here I will provide the for each frame, for those who either just don't get it, or happen to become disgruntled by it. Also, I am not above providing explanation, as I'm also aware of the fact this might be a touchy subject for some people.

1. Yep, that's Duo allright!
2. Episode 2 is a good example of how reckless and further into episode three we see his resoursefulness when he breaks Heero out from the alliance hospital.
3. It's true, he lives with her. And works with her. Could something blossom from the friendship they have? Who am I to say?

4. guilty as charged... I've done this one, and it ain't pretty, espeically when people think he's like inu yasha or something.. don't do it! I WILL admit I've seen this done well. [if you can take a cliché and do it well, then by all means, do it. Buuut, sad truth is.. He's simply not a Demon..]
5. How can an idiot pilot a 15 meter tall, 7 ton battle machine with out getting seriously confused and or blown up a few times over? Idiots don't get far in wars either. Also? Idiots go around degrading those who DO have a mind.. The people who brought us loonatics unleashed, and soon a butchered versian of the thundercats, for instance..
6. I've met maybe 10 Maxwell siblings.. Most of them were depressed or VERY VERY happy.. And some how or another had perfect figures, other then the fact that they were abused and starved to the point where you could see the ribs? dispite the muscular battle ready biceps etc.... The closet Duo had as a sibling, and I think they kind of ment it to be that way, was Solo. Great character he woulda been if he didn't die.. [*wink*] I'm not saying every sibling character is bad, I've seen a few good examples, BUT, here's the thing.. If duo did have a sister, regaurdless of age.. She definently wouldn't have the same reasons for having a braid, thus deeming the carbon copy sibling character.. well.. a taboo!

7. He's not depressed, he's not a goth just cause he wears black, he's not emotional just because he wears a metaphorical mask over his feelings most of the time. Like most optomists, he sees past most of his troubles knowing with a little time, despite his impaitence with Heero, or otherwise, he'll get through on top. He's not going to fall into a pit of angst just because he wasn't able to go on a mission or whatever.. He'd more then likly get irritated. However, that isn't to say he won't cry if he was in a situation that caused him great emotional pain. But in reference to Hope is Emo... He isn't overly emotional. He's a pretty down to earth nice guy who does what he can to get by.

8. I've seen alot of fics where he's on prozak.. which is an anti-depressent. Again, not emo, no need for the drugs. As for Weed, heroine, crack? Firstly it's in and around 300-500 years in the future, (educated guess.) Let's consider now, It's illegal to sell certain over the counter medication or baby formula in large ammounts, there for, dealers get crafty and go to a buncha different stores, I'm pretty sure the limit is like 6? Anyway, Meth, heroine, pot.. etc. We're in the age of knowlage and technology, and the age gundam wing is? Technological utopia. I'm certain most of the drugs we know to day are pretty dead in their time. I'm just guessing here, point is, He doesn't do drugs, he's not depressed, lives a good life, and for the benifit of the doubt, I'd say the only drug he'd take would be alchohol. But.. Not as an alcholic. Social drinker.
Plus it's a funny pop culture reference.

9. Truth is, I don't know, nobody knows. But with the character Hilde, it's easy to assume he'd lean that way. Some people say they give eachother looks and there's fluff in the anime and the japanese is so totally omg yaoi centric? One of these... looks, I noticed.. was in episode 19, where Heero is about to shoot Duo. The light is shining on Duo funny. It doesn't insinuate anything. Just that Duo's prepared to die, or he's just asking for it. Point is, he doesn't have feelings either way for his fellow pilots. And I want to add in here for the record, that I forgot to mention on the piece itself. He's not the community whore either.. he doesn't orgy with the maguanaks and just cause he spent a month with Quatre doesn't mean he's gonna jump his bones..

10. He's not a girl. Period. Also, that's a paraphrase from out of scott mcneils mouth at a Q&A. It was really funny so.. I'm paying homage.

11. nanananananana.. I've heard about this, never actually saw it. Buuuuut.. he's not batman.. Bruce Wayne is Batman.. Or.. Micheal Keaton and Adam West, or Christian Bale. Also Terry Mcginnis.. We LOVES us some Batman Beyond.

But not Duo.

12. How many times have you seen bad recolors of either sonic characters to be SUPER SONAK 2213124, or in a recent case, had some of his art stolen and recolored as like sailor neko chan chan or something... as their own character? I use this as the example because it annoys me personally. I can handle it sometimes when it's drawn. Hell, I can appreciate it more when it's drawn. As to why he doesn't like "you?" the mary sue, or otherwise? Because many fics in this case throw in the AC and expect the character to fall inlove with them instantly. This simply doesn't happen, usually.
But again, most mary sue stereotypes are also perfect for the character they are "destined" for and have perfect chemistry immedietly.


I hope that all clears some stuff up for people who get confused!
